The challenge

A gym in an industrial estate competes against an objection before it competes against another gym: "that's too far for me". You can be a seven-minute drive from half of Tarragona, but someone who doesn't know the area has no way of knowing that, and a pin on a map doesn't answer the question.

On top of that, a strength gym isn't sold with a price list. Someone searching "how to start at the gym" or "how much protein should I eat" isn't looking for a gym yet — but they are exactly the person who will end up choosing one. If someone else answers those questions, the relationship starts somewhere else.

And the only way to solve both at once is to publish a lot: dozens of pages that have to be created, organised and maintained without depending on anyone.

What we built

  • A dedicated page for every surrounding town — Reus, Salou, Cambrils, Constantí, Torredembarra, Altafulla and ten more — each with its own driving time and real distance from that specific town, not one text repeated with the name swapped.
  • A "How far is it?" index gathering every town in a single view, for people who don't yet know whether it's close.
  • A library of training and nutrition guides, each signed by its author, with reading time and last-updated date on show.
  • Comparisons matching the questions people actually type before deciding: free weights or machines, 24-hour or traditional gym, chain or independent.
  • Pages by goal — powerlifting, muscle building, weight loss, starting from zero, training without crowds — so each profile finds its own way in.
  • The whole site mirrored in English, with both versions linked to each other so Google knows which one to show to whom.
  • Light and dark mode, and every piece of content readable on a phone, which is where it actually gets read.
