People join a studio when they feel the place suits them. To feel that, they need to see what the space is like and what a class feels like before they look at the timetable.
A timetable and a price list do not tell anyone what your room is like or what the atmosphere in a class is. That is why on the home page of Ànima, a movement studio, we put a video filmed in the classes themselves, which is the first thing visitors see.
After that, each practice has its own page, with its photo and a button to book that specific class. Someone looking for pilates lands on the pilates page and someone looking for yoga lands on the yoga page, without having to dig through everything else.
The free first class does the most to bring someone new in, and yet many studios hide it. At Ànima, before the new website, it only appeared in the booking system after choosing a day and time, and it was the seventh of eight options.
Now it has a page of its own, explained step by step, and it is repeated in the booking page, the prices and every practice. It is also where the ads land, so someone who clicks on a campaign arrives at the offer they were promised.
If booking means leaving for another app, some people get lost along the way. At Ànima class booking is inside the website itself, with the week's timetable and the free places in each session.
Once you start spending on ads, you want to know which ones bring you students. We measure every step of the booking, from the click on the button to the payment, so you know which campaigns bring people who go on to pay and which ones are not worth more spending.
